We are pleased to offer you a three night extension to get a taste of Paris and some of her many delights. We beg you to make the best of your trip to France and give yourself some time to get over the worst of the jet lag before it’s time to celebrate with Katie & Josh.

This package is for the three days before the wedding package, October 3-6 2025. Check in after 2pm on Oct. 3, check out 10am Oct. 6. Most flights from the US are over-night and arrive in the morning; that first day is a doozy. We invite you to start with a gentle boat cruise to feel the spirit of Paris floating along her main artery. Each day there are activities of varying length and vigor to tempt you. But our best recommendation is to wander, get lost, find yourself and discover the real life of Paris. On the morning of October 6 we will board a high-speed train to Bordeaux and continue by private transfer to the Chateau de Garde, Clos 1906 and Chateau Haute-Brisson.  The Paris package comes with explicit instructions on how not to miss your train, a custom Paris PDF guide with our favorite recommendations for restaurants, specialty museums, recommend walks and other delicious things to do in Paris and our invaluable support for your travel related questions. Enrich your time in Paris with optional tickets to the Louvre at our recommended entry time or add return to Paris train tickets below. Celebrate your arrival in Paris with an hour-long boat ride past the greatest monuments of Paris and swing by the Eiffel tower at sunset when it lights up in a cascade of sparkles. Starts at 8:30pm on an island in the River Seine with stunning views of the city so get there early to take your photos. Cruise ends at Bastille dock so you can get dinner in this lively neighborhood afterwards. Meeting place and dock location will be sent to you after booking.

Train tickets to Bordeaux

One-way train tickets from Paris to Bordeaux TGV train station October 6 with crucial instructions on how to find your train in the very busy and confusing train station, how to find your car once you’re on the right platform and how to find your seats. Navigating all this with luggage can be a handful, so we’ve added optional luggage delivery in the upgrades section for an easier time on your travel day. We will make your train booking and send you your digital tickets with QR code which you can print out or have on your phone.

Evening at Versailles

6PM SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2025

We’ll arrive in the town of Versailles at dusk, have a casual French meal in the shadow of the castle then head to the gardens to watch the sunset against the vast expanse of the Grand Esplanade. As the musical fountains light up one by one we will walk the gardens to the sound of baroque music, wandering through intimate groves with fountains and the occasional champagne bar, we’ll see artful displays of fire and water and for the grand finale, a spectacular fireworks show. It's a thrilling way to experience what a great celebration would have been like in the time of the Sun King. Please note that Versailles is an hour from Paris, there is at least two hours of walking on this experience and you won’t be back to your hotel until 11:30pm but with the jet lag, that won’t seem that late. Louvre tickets

SUNday, OCTOBER 5, 2025

Skip the line tickets, which actually means you have time slot and there is still a bit of a line. But, we know when the best time slot is and have insider tips about the best way to see the Mona Lisa. We will make your booking and send you your digital tickets with QR code which you can print out or have on your phone. Booking deadline May 30, 2025

Train & Luggage

The Paris package includes train from Paris to Bordeaux October 6th and private transfer to your hotel in Bordeaux. If you’d like return train tickets from Bordeaux to Paris October 9th or 10th you can buy them below.  Please note that train tickets are priced per person; be sure to select the correct quantity that reflects the number of persons traveling with you. We will make your booking and send you your digital tickets with QR code which you can print out or have on your phone.

Please note that there is no checked baggage on the train and we recommend luggage delivery service for those with large suitcases or not accustom to traveling by train in Europe. This service picks up your luggage at your hotel in Paris and delivers it at your hotel in Bordeaux. Luggage delivery is priced per bag; be sure to select the correct number of bags before clicking add to cart. We will arrange with the luggage service and the hotel to have your bags delivered.
